The body language here says it all. I wanted to paint this just as a gestural study because I loved the pose so much - one twin giving a reassuring peck on the cheek to the other before heading to school. These are my great nieces (sp?) and they are 2 1/2. I wasn't interested in a likeness so much as I was the posturing of the two.
