5 x 7 oil on gessobord
I am feeling very rusty, it's been so long since I've painted. I've wanted to paint our state bird for some time and decided to give it a try today. We have lots of these in Mississippi. Although they can be mean birds, they have a beautiful sound and mimic other birds' sounds.
Haha-your mockingbird looks like he's ready to dive-bomb a cat. We get them up here but not lots. I find them to be so funny. Nice job.
